Ritika Priya is a Counsel in the Chambers, with over six years of experience in civil and commercial litigation, with a growing focus on arbitration, particularly infrastructure and construction disputes. She holds a Master’s degree in Constitutional Law from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam. She is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi and is a member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association.
Ritika has developed a well-rounded disputes practice, with experience spanning civil, consumer, insolvency, matrimonial, and arbitration matters. In the arbitration space, she has been involved in infrastructure and construction disputes arising out of EPC contracts, public works contracts, and concession agreements. Her work includes assisting in claim formulation, quantification of claims, drafting statements of claim and defence, and supporting proceedings under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, including Section 9 and Section 34 matters.
She regularly advises contractors, concessionaires, and private entities on dispute strategy in infrastructure projects, including issues relating to delay and prolongation claims, variation claims, termination disputes, and payment recoveries. Her role often involves close coordination with technical teams and experts to build robust factual and evidentiary foundations in arbitration proceedings.
In addition to her arbitration practice, she advises clients on complex legal issues, reviews commercial agreements, and manages litigation strategy from drafting to final arguments before courts and tribunals. She works closely with government authorities and private corporations, bringing both procedural rigour and strategic clarity to dispute resolution.
Alongside her practice, Ritika maintains a keen interest in legal research and scholarship. She serves as a peer reviewer with the Indian Law Institute, reflecting her continued engagement with the academic development of law.
